The environment was based around the valley in Thredbo, NSW. Although the picture I have found does not do it justice, the real valley I have in mind is along the road from Jindabyne to thredbo, where the road winds through the steep forest valley in the national park before arriving in Thredbo. In summer the valley is full of trees etc. My valley is an amplified version, with bigger trees and steeper hills etc.
