A:

I believe this is one of my best creative pieces of work before coming to university. It is a photograph I took from Cronulla Point early one morning in 2008. I like it as there is clearly a powerful swell hitting the coast and the brave few surfers are seen to be paddling out to get some early waves.

B:

This is a photo of the Vale hotel, in Niseko, Japan. When I was in Japan on a ski trip this year, this building stood out above all others as a magnificent looking building, fitting into the atmosphere and adding to the drama of the ski resort perfectly. It was designed by Nikken Sekkei, a famous architect. I believe is is one of the most beautiful buildings I have seen.

This is a photo i have taken from our boat in 2009. It shows the formation of the wake as it comes from the sides of the boat, joins and spreads out again. I find the movement, formation and shape of the water beautiful.
